Top 5 Interior Design Trends For Summer 2019.

Are you planning an update of your home decor? Before you make a start, find out what’s going to be big in interior design this Spring/Summer with our guide to the interior design trends for Summer 2019.

Jungle Themes

Botanicals have been making an impact on interior design for a couple of years now, but for Spring/Summer 2016 this will translate into more exotic designs. To get this look, fill your home with tropical plants, jungle-inspired prints, bamboo and rattan furniture and accessories, and create clashing colour palettes of bright greens, oranges, and yellows.

Statement Mirrors

If you want to maximise the appearance of your space, then a mirror is going to be a must, and for Summer 2019 it’s all about the statement mirror. Any decent-sized mirror will help your room appear bigger, but adding an eye-catching piece will also give it a real sense of glamour and style. From the ornate to the simple, the contemporary to the classic, there are any numbers of designs for you to choose from.

Pinks

One of Pantone’s colours of the year is Rose Quartz – a soft, pastel pink – and this has led to renewed interest in pink in all its forms. Far more versatile than people give it credit for, there is a pink shade to suit almost every taste and style of decor – from pale, almost neutral pinks, to bright, bubble-gum pinks, all the way up to rich, seductive pinks. Used sparingly, they will bring a new dimension to a space, so pick a pink this Spring/Summer and give your home a makeover.

Pastels

While Rose Quartz has set a trend for pinks, the announcement of Pantone’s Colours of the Year has put pastel tones well and truly on the interior design radar. Paired with Rose Quartz for 2016 is Serenity Blue, another delicate, pastely shade, and this Spring/Summer all manner of pastel shades will be making an appearance. If the brighter colours of a jungle themed room aren’t for you, then pastels, which will give a space a softer, calmer feel, are the perfect alternative.

Rustic Interiors

Decorating with natural Materials has become increasingly popular in recent years, and this ties in nicely with the growing trend for rustic interiors. Whether you want to go for the full-on traditional farmhouse feel or just add a few touches here and there, the rustic design style will give any space a muted and relaxed atmosphere. Common features of the rustic home include exposed beams and floors, and reclaimed wood furniture.
